Palma Cathedral

Cathedral of Santa Maria, or La Seu, is located in Palma de Mallorca on the Balearic Islands. 

Start of construction dates back to 1230 year. Erection lasted for several centuries, and the architecture of the cathedral together several stylistic trends that are popular at different times. In general, the building is built in the Gothic and late Gothic style. 

Within the walls of the cathedral is the tomb of kings malorkanskih James II and Jaime III. You can see also the largest organ of the 18th century. Since 1932, in the premises of the chapels and bell towers of the cathedral museum opened. In the early 20th century saw the restoration of the cathedral by the architect Antoni Gaudi. 

Majestic La Seu is one of the largest gothic monuments in southern Europe, a significant religious center of Mallorca and popular attraction among tourists.
