House of Bones

Casa Batllo in Barcelona, ​​known as well as the House of Bones. This house, owned by the textile magnate Josep Batlló and-Kasanovas, was erected in 1877. 

Later the building was rebuilt by the architect Antoni Gaudi and became famous for his unique style. Carved facades of hewn stone buildings, its internal decorative details, reminiscent in their bone structure, which was the cause of the second name of the house. In the design of the house is not outlandish uses straight lines, but only the wavy shape. The structure resembles a dragon, a favorite character of the architect. 

Casa Batllo is incredibly popular as the most interesting architectural creation Barcelona. Next to him are such famous buildings as the house and the house of Leo Amal Morera. Together, these buildings form the so-called "Quarter disagreement" because of different architectural styles. 

In 2005, Casa Batllo was included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
