The González Martí National Museum of Ceramics and Decorative Arts
National Ceramics Museum Gonzalez Marti is located in the center of Valencia, in the medieval palace of the Marquis de Dos Aguas.
The museum features more than five thousand pieces of pottery from the early 16th century, most of which relates to the personal collection of Manuel Gonzalez Marti, founder of the National Museum. In the halls you can also see antique furniture, leather and glass decorative items, jewelry, coins and other valuable items. In the former stables of the palace is open carriage showroom.
Among other historical treasures in the Museum Gonzalez Marti kept a few pictures of the world famous artist Pablo Picasso.
Each visitor to the museum can personally oversee the process of creating pottery.
National Ceramics Museum is open daily, except Mondays, from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 on Sundays only from 10:00 to 14:00.
