Museum of Glass and Crystal
The Museum of Glass and Crystal in the Spanish city of Malaga represented about three thousand artifacts from different historical periods, as well as several thousand exhibits in temporary exhibitions.
Museum resettled as a private house, its rooms are decorated with old antiques, paintings, rugs, mirrors and special lighting racks for glassware and crystal.
The museum has two floors, it is located in a 18th century building in the city center. On the ground floor you can see the English stained glass. There are also artifacts that have survived since the time of ancient civilizations - Egyptian, Greco-Roman, Islamic, Byzantine and Phoenician.
In the rest of the museum exhibits items 16th and 17th centuries, Venetian glass, vintage cups and many other exhibits. Great value make crystal chandeliers and stained glass windows.
Museum director, collector Don Gonzalo Fernandez-Prieto dedicated to his work for many years of hard work. According to him, the collection is designed to increase interest in learning and recreating the production of crystal and glass products.
The museum is open daily, except Mondays, from 11:00 to 19:00.
