Gothic Quarter in Barcelona

The Gothic Quarter is located in Barcelona, in the heart of Old Town. The name comes from the Barri Gotic old medieval buildings surviving in this territory. Most of the buildings date from the 14th and 15th centuries, there is also a Roman structure.
Central point of the quarter is the Hagia Eulalia - patroness of the city. Another feature - the famous historical area of the King (not to be confused with the Royal area).
