Alcázar of Seville

Royal Alcazar in Spanish city of Seville was originally a fort Moors. The palace was laid Arab Almohad dynasty. The main part of which has come down to our times complex was built on the ruins of the former strengthen Castilian King Pedro I. Start of construction of a new fortress dates back to 1364 year. For seven hundred years the palace served as the Spanish kings. Alcazar and is now the official residence of the royal family in Seville.
Alcazar is a unique example of ancient Mudejar architecture, which survived until our days. Rooms of the palace are luxurious and elegant. Walls of old fortress is surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens and walkways. Each of the courtyards and halls of the castle has its eventful history, unique beauty and makes a lasting impression on every visitor.
Since 1987, the Alcazar is one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
