Roque Nublo ("Roque Nublo")
Roque Nublo is the most important natural monument of the island of Gran Canaria. Rock is located in the municipality of Tejeda in Spain, at an altitude of 1800 meters above sea level.
Known rock, shaped like a finger, more than 60 meters in height, was a place of worship of the Guanches - the ancient inhabitants of Gran Canaria. Nowadays, a huge basalt rock is known as one of the symbols of the island.
Roque Nublo very popular, many travelers want to see this work of nature stone, created over the millennia. Visitors are advised to make a walk to the rock in comfortable shoes.
