Timanfaya National Park
Park Timanfaya still known as Park volcanoes. In the 18th century on the island of Lanzarote volcano erupted, fiery lava covered the third part of it. Landscapes of this territory began to resemble the surface of Mars. Now desolate mountains are popular among tourists and curiosity scenery for films of science fiction.
Unearthly beauty Timanfaya Visitors can watch thanks to the designer and architect Cesar Manrique, who designed the route with views of the volcanic craters. In the park there is a special restaurant built over an active volcano, and the heat is going cooking.
In order to protect yourself visit the park is prohibited. Every 15 minutes from the entrance to Timanfaya sent special tourist buses. Also have the opportunity to visit the park with hiking excursion group.
