Pileta Caves
Pileta ancient cave located on the territory of the municipality in Benaojan Spanish province of Malaga. This cave is known for its numerous rock paintings that were created centuries ago.
Here you can see images of different animals, abstract symbols and various figures of unknown origin. The paintings were discovered in 1905. Part of the image refers to the Paleolithic era, the other part dates from the Neolithic era. Also petroglyphs, cave for thousands of years preserved remains of ancient pottery with painted notches.
Pileta very popular among tourists. Guided tours are guided. Cave is a historical monument in Spain.
