Alcazaba
Arab fortress in the city of Malaga in southern Spain was built back in the 8th century, thoroughly completed in the mid-11th century. She was the most powerful defensive works Moorish period. Now recognized as the best fortress surviving from ancient Alcazaba centuries on the territory of Spain.
Near the castle are the ruins of the ancient Roman theater. Some materials from the old Roman buildings were used for the construction of the fortress.
Today, the fortress of Malaga is a popular attraction. Its centuries-old walls are decorated courtyards and green spaces.
